THE CHARME OF STANDARDISATION IN LIFE SCIENCES 21-22 June 2016

Standardisation issues are addressed in many research fields, e.g. R&D, education, technology transfer and application but these research areas are often poorly connected. The aim of this conference is to build a platform for stakeholders that could transform a fragmented debate into an organized and fruitful diversity.

The conference intends to explore the needs and the dimension of the relation between standardization and innovation. Representatives from academia, industry and standardisation bodies who have been making exceptional contributions to develop and disseminate standards will inform and discuss with the participants the pros and cons of the use and implementation of standards in the daily work flow.
