How European Biological and Medical Sciences Research Infrastructures Boost Innovation by Open Access

This meeting will explore how the 11 biological and medical sciences research infrastructures (BMS RIs) in Europe can stimulate innovation by providing access to their key assets, including resources, technologies, data and knowledge.

Topics will include:

• How resources, technologies, data and knowledge provided by different RIs can address industries’ needs in an ideal way
• IP strategy in open innovation and new business models
• What could be the contribution of Expert Centres, a novel model of public-private partnership, to open innovation

The main target groups are research infrastructures, industry, the European Commission, research groups and other stakeholders from various research and innovation fields.
