Greg Simon, President of the Biden Cancer Initiative, to open Global Biobank Week as keynote speaker

As President of the Biden Cancer Initiative, Greg is working to develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care, and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes. Previously, he was Executive Director of the White House Cancer Moonshot Task Force and held senior positions in both chambers of Congress and the White House. He also served as senior strategy consultant to a variety of international technology CEO’s, led a national patient advocacy non-profit and was a senior executive at a large pharmaceutical corporation. He has developed a reputation as a visionary strategist, a dynamic public speaker and writer, and as a knowledgeable analyst of emerging trends in healthcare, information technology, innovative drug research and development and patient advocacy.

Mr. Simon will give the Lead Keynote on 13 September 2017 in Plenary at Global Biobank Week.
