German Biobank Node (GBN): Workshop on “Biobanking in Microbiome Research”

In recent years, interest in the microbiome has grown steadily – there is even talk of “microbiomania”. With the help of metagenomics, scientists today record exactly how many of the different species are found in biosamples. During the GBN workshop “Biobanking and Microbiome Research” on 15 September 2022 (held in English), both researchers and biobankers will talk about current findings, trends, and challenges in this context.
