With the BBMRI-ERIC Self-Assessment Surveys (SAS) you can compare work processes in your biobank and sample collections with the requirements of European and international standards.
You can choose from a total of ten Self-Assessment Surveys, six of them have been updated from CEN Technical Specifications to new versions that are based on the respective newly published ISO standards (ISO 20166-1, 2, 3 and ISO 20186-1, 2, 3). You can request all surveys here.
The purpose of the BBMRI-ERIC Self-Assessment Surveys is to encourage researchers and biobankers that are based in our Member and Observer countries to implement quality requirements and to provide a free tool to assess the quality of sample collections and the quality management of biobanks.
The assessment process can further lead to a quality mark in the BBMRI-ERIC Directory. More information can be found here.
