IT & Data Protection Manager Petr Holub Speaks at the Czech Senate

On May 14, 2019, BBMRI-ERIC’s IT & Data Protection Manager Petr Holub spoke at the Senate of the Czech Republic in Prague during the fourth annual National Clinical Trials Day 2019.

Petr chaired the international afternoon session on the present and future of data sharing on clinical research in the 21st century and gave a talk titled “Sharing of Research Data in Academic Environments – Transnational Experience from BBMRI-ERIC”. Following was a discussion of using AI for extraction of data from clinical records.

The event was organised by the Czech Committee on Health and Social Policy in cooperation with CZECRIN, the Czech branch of the European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network.
