EGI FITSM TRAINING CALENDAR FOR 2016

EGI is pleased to announce the first dates of 2016 for FitSM training and certification.

FitSM is a pragmatic, lightweight and achievable standard for IT service management, based on the ISO/IEC 20000 family of standards. It is modular and provides auditable requirements as well as practical ITSM implementation guidance through templates, samples, and guides allowing to more easily implement established best practices.

The FitSM training and certification scheme has been designed to be as efficient and focused as possible through incremental levels (Foundation, Advanced, Expert) coupled with formal exams for achieving a personal certification backed by international certification authority TÜV-SÜD. More than 120 individuals throughout the EGI community have already been certified, which is spreading further as FitSM is becoming the leading alternative to ITIL with its lightweight, pragmatic approach. The FitSM training and certification scheme is a crucial first step in helping organisations to focus on customer needs and better manage services professionally.
