Join us in Lyon, France on 4-6 June 2024 for an exciting 2 ½ day symposium which will showcase 10 years of insight and outlook on ethical, legal, and societal implications (ELSI) relevant for biobanks and biomedical research. This meeting will celebrate the faceted plurality of ELSI expertise across countries stemming from both interdisciplinary service provision and research.
The event starts on 4 June at 14h and ends on 6 June at 16h. It is designed as a roadshow across key achievements and outlook on aspects relevant for biobanking such as artificial intelligence, genetics and genomics, gender, governance, regulatory compliance or datafication, among others in topical sessions.
The preliminary full programme is now available. An abstract booklet will be published in due course.
The meeting will be a 2 ½ days in-person event. Registration follows a first-come-first-serve approach. Places are limited to 100 attendees. In addition, five speaker slots and travel scholarships à 700€ for registration fee and travel/accommodation are reserved for young researchers (PhD candidates until 5 years after PhD). The poster sessions are open to everyone.
