Biobanking Course at Institut Pasteur

Institut Pasteur is offering a MOOC on Biobanking, designed to provide participants
with insights into the wide range of activities hosted in a biobank.

Topics include storage, transport, ethics and regulation, to biosafety of micro-organisms and toxins. It addresses how biobanks are equipped to host biological materials under conditions optimal for their use and preservation, including sample-associated
data stored in interactive databases, for scientific research and / or industrial innovations.

This course is open to everyone interested in Biobanking. A bachelor of science is
recommended.
